According to miniature horse enthusiast Susan Bijl, minis are so much more than “nice for the children” or alternative lawn mowers! Susan switched to miniatures five years ago. Since then, she has been participating in competitions specially designed for minis. The driving method was developed in the United States and is also based on American rules and regulations.
Susan Bijl became European champion with her stallion Dribbels Adventure in 2007. 2008 was also an extraordinary year: Susan became European champion with her mare Trix, reserve champion with stallion Dribbels Adventure and placed third with Ultra Beau Jangels.
The “miniature sport” is growing in popularity in Europe, and in a spectacular barrel race, Susan Bijl is delighted to show just how incredibly fast and strong this small breed really is.
Miniature? Yes! But the accent is on horse……….
